hmm no la the true purpose of this post is to see how much my stats would go up once I blog something related to Japanese porn. Hmm somewhat inspired by Shawn. Anyway this was my conversation with JF-sama la. 

I don’t know if some innocent guys would be surprised or not to find out that most girls had watched porn before, too. hmm…I do know of girls who had never watched porn ever, in their whole entire life, but girls who “had ever watched porn”…I think quite a lot right? Notice is not “like to watch”, or “watching” or “watches”. I meant “had ever watched” coz’ you either felt curious, you stumbled across it, or seriously the stupid pop-up window just popped up and you just saw it lor!

Ya anyway. I don’t see why we can”t talk openly about watching porn. I think Japanese porn is quite unique simply because it’s really sinful. It’s like eating a slice of super sinful triple chocolate plus oreo fudge cake…and you don’t just eat it, you actually lick it bit by bit, seductively, with your tongue, knowing you’re in control.

Or maybe not. Coz if you eat too much choc cake you’d (1) get sick of something even better one day; (2) get fat and have your arteries clogged.

Hmm. Anyway when I was working at ANA hotel in Japan, they had two brouchures; one titled “yellow cherry”, the other “blue cherry”.

Hmm anyway…I opened it and got a lot of porn pictures already la. But it’s intriguing. There are stuffs like bondage la, teacher having sex with students la, a bored housewife wanting to have sex with younger guys la…I mean, it’s just terribly interesting la! And the subscription rate is like US23/day…for five channels, including two porn channels. The rest are like movie channels, Chinese drama, Japanese latest dramas and movies channels. So I mean. There ARE people who do watch porn for like, the whole day. And quite a lot of them. 

I mean, who would like watch porn the whole damn day in Japan tho. With that money you can actually get actual stimulation already. It is NOT difficult to get a call girl in Japan, or for that matter, a call boy. They advertise freely, you can browse porn in 7-11 ( i haven’t had the guts to do so, though, because I think it’s really too overwhelming to have porn on paper, dun think I’d ever read porn), people even give out tissue papers offering women sex because “aren’t you lonely?” XD For say 30 bucks you could rent a love hotel for  2 hours. And sidenote, I still have that callboy tissue paper ok, some guy gave to me when I was in Tokyo…

…my point being, like Japanese Lit, Japanese porn has something unique to offer precisely because it’s sinful. Japanese porn exhibits the warped, damage beauty of doing the forbidden. Bondage, submission, fantasies, gay love, lesbian love, sex with a school girl, sex with an elder lady, girl ‘wanting’ to suck/kiss/lick you so much…all these are beauty in ugliness. It’s really as how Tanizaki (my fav Japanese author) puts it…there IS beauty in ugliness. It’s a secret, captivating allure; mysterious, dark, and ultimately somewhat thrilling. There is this secret darkness in all of us…and that’s the charm of porn. 

It is charming precisely because it’s forbidden and exciting. Forbidden love and desire, is entrancing. At the heart of darkness is sin, obviously.

But before you think this post is merely literature erotica–no. Today I heard this teaching in church on “imitation is the best form of flattery”.

Porn, to me, is how the devil tries to cheat you of the real pleasure in sex. Or to extrapolate, the devil is trying to make you doubt your own ability to trust God fully, through guilt.

In the bible, porn is wrong because a woman naked is only made for the eyes of her husband and noone else, and vice versa.

Take submission for instance. Frankly, I think oral sex is something super beautiful la. I do know of some guy frens who told me “siao eh it’s so dirrrtyyy”, or “if my gf/wife doesn’t want to do it, I wun force her”. I don’t know, but personally I think it’s really great to give pleasure to someone, but only within boundaries. Submission is something beautiful, something like amae, if it’s not warped, and if people do not abuse it. But even if they do, there is beauty in that flaw, in that ugliness.

Which is to say, you have to set your own conditions if you were to be bound by the laws of the earth, should you not want to get hurt. If I were to be bound by this law, I would do it exclusively with my boyfriend when i feel like it. I think it’s a great experience to show love. Which is also to say that I would not go around having sex with people because I feel like it, because i’d still believe in exclusivity. It’s also a fact that I think people who go around having sex with other people are cheapening themselves. Lots of supply will make the commodity cheap ma! It’s the same theory!

But I’m not bounded by the laws of the earth. As a Christian, I’d already been released from this law. But what I’m saying is that, sincerely, the impression that sex is bad to Christianity is flawed. There is beauty in anal sex, oral sex, and sexual intercourse. Like, duh? But with every sinful pleasure indulged, you’d be robbed of your real pleasure that is to come, that is exclusive, that is only between you and your life partner.

But I won’t judge people who are promiscuous by choice. I won’t. I’d just think that they’re losing something precious. But by no means should they be looked down upon. I don’t look down on prostitutes, on people who trade sex for money for fun. I don’t. I think they’re interesting.

And…I happen to believe that it takes two hands to clap? Why do we look down on prostitutes but not the men who patronise them? Because “men have needs”? Why do we look down on gigalos (however you spell that) but not the women? Because “they’re lonely”? Why do we blame girls who love wearing mini skirts when they’re molested, but not that much of a molester? Because “they’re asking for it?”

No. There is nothing wrong with looking at girls with big boobs, nice legs, etcetc. There is merely something wrong when one starts to use that girl as a commodity to satisfy one’s selfish needs.

Oh by the way, this is also damn random, but recently I’d been quite pissed of by the use of subtlety when it comes to important matters. IN IMPORTANT THINGS, YOU FUCKINGLY COMMUNICATE. You could be tactful, but not subtle, not hint-tive, without playing mind-games; seriously, you COMMUNICATE. In true love and concern towards any human beings, it’s regardless of intellect, pride and ego.
